💡 What is Matter — and Why Does It Matter?

Matter is a new smart home protocol backed by major tech brands like Apple, Google, Amazon, and Samsung. It creates a shared language for smart devices — so you can control everything from one app, with the voice assistant you already use.

🍏 Designed for Apple HomeKit

We’ve designed our lights with Apple HomeKit users in mind. Setting up your HomeGlow bulb takes less than a minute. Here’s how it works:

1. Screw in your HomeGlow bulb.

2. Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad.

3. Scan the Matter QR code on the bulb or packaging.

4. Name your bulb and assign it to a room.

That’s it — you’re done.

Now you can turn lights on or off, change color, adjust brightness, or create custom scenes using just your voice with Siri on your iPhone, iPad, or HomePod.

Try:

“Hey Siri, turn on the living room lights.”
“Hey Siri, set the bedroom to warm white.”
“Hey Siri, dim the lights to 30%.”

🔄 Works With Google & Alexa Too

Not an Apple user? No problem. Because HomeGlow bulbs are Matter-compatible, they also work with:

• Google Home — Control your lights with Google Assistant on Nest speakers, Android phones, or the Google Home app.
